Wind Horse Necklace

Countless hours over a span of 6 months I was finally able to bring to fruition the vision for this rare and stunning piece of Number 8 turquoise. The call was loud, but the vision came in whispers; and it was not until I pulled out the trim wire that the design began to be revealed to me. Then it came fast and furious and I knew exactly what needed to be expressed. This piece of Number 8 is a freedom loving wild child! The bale was was also not easy to interpret, but eventually it came. She then told me a hand made chain was needed, but not just any chain….one that was bold yet refined, and as unique as her own voice. This piece sat idle for months while I contemplated and meditated with her. Finally, while I was futzing around with ideas the current chain design came to me, and it exactly fit the bill. It wasn’t until I was photographing her that she told me her name: Wind Horse. Exquisite.

I am quite proud of this necklace. It is truly one of a kind, and a wonderful collection piece. Every bit of it is hand crafted of sterling silver, with the exception of the rolo chain at the back.

The pendant measures 2 and 1/8th” x  just shy of 2 and 1/2.”

The chain is 20″ long, with the ability shorten using any of the rings. Cleverly, I include an open ring to attach the hanging link to the necklace should you choose to do so.
